Man everytime it rains or whenever it rains my car seems o end up spuddering. i have no clue why. like today it was raining and my car cant rev past 2500 rpm in each gear because it will start spuddering(shaking whole car). pisses me off. it use to happen when it rains but it sopped occuring after a long time and now its back. and even worse my service engine soon light came on. ahhhhhhhh im so pissed.

go to auto zone and have them hook the scanner up and pull the codes, thats not good at all. There is something wrong if its shuddering, you might be spinning your tires.

yes i am and i positive its because water is getting onto the filter and stuff. but this service engine soon little needs to go away. im annoyed by it.

Yeah you could short ram it. But If you're like me and you hate the rain, i'm not going under the hood every time it rains. Besides, we live in Fayetteville. Rain is like a not so best friend. Just shows up randomly. A better, more costly option would be to get your filter water treated. K&N makes a kit that could do the job. The draw back on that is the oil they have supplied will collect dust and grime a lot faster than an untreated filter. The best route to go is to get yourself an AEM Bypass Valve. Mack tested and Huggy Approved 
, this is by far the best defense for submersion and possible Hydrolock. I personally tried to destroy my engine to prove it didn't work and have AEM buy me a new one. I failed with a vengence. So if my craz ass can't get it to brake and not work, it has to be good. Google it. The money you spend on it is well worth it.

I have a bypass it is for puddles not sucking up everday road water. Your best bet is to have your intake on a quick release so when you check the weather the night before it takes under two minutes to cwitch it over that is what i do. Plus i would keep it short ram right now just because it is the rainy season
